Artist Application Terms

Who can apply

You must be 18 or older to apply. Existing work is welcome; you do not need to create a new artwork for this application. Applying does not guarantee selection, a commission or payment.

Review and private contact

ROKH uses your application information and original files to review your work and contact you privately by email about the application. Your email address and private application answers are not public profile content. The privacy policy explains the legal bases, storage periods and your rights.

Your rights and the publication permission

I have the rights needed to grant this permission, including the consent of any identifiable person shown in my work. By accepting the Application Terms confirmation and submitting, I give ROKH non-exclusive permission, without time or territorial limit, to publish the artworks submitted in my stories in its app and website, and to reproduce and display them with my chosen public credit to promote ROKH through the channels described in these terms. For these uses ROKH may crop or resize the artworks to its card format and place the ROKH mark, the credit and a cultural note beside or over them; other changes need my agreement. Copyright stays with the rights holder; this permission does not authorise ROKH to sell my artwork or copies, make merchandise from it, license it for someone else’s independent use, or use it to train AI models.

Promotion, limits and withdrawal

Publication and promotion are authorised in this application, without a second approval for uses within this scope. ROKH promotion includes its website and app, social media, paid ROKH campaigns, press materials, partner and investor presentations, and printed materials or displays presenting ROKH; posting on a platform includes the display rights that platform requires. These uses may help ROKH grow its audience, brand and business. The permission covers only artworks submitted in your stories, not other work on a linked portfolio. Your chosen public credit, including “Anonymous artist”, applies throughout; private contact details are not part of the permission. ROKH will not put submitted artworks into AI image or video generators or use them to train AI models. You can withdraw the permission for the future by email: ROKH then stops new uses within 30 days, while card instances already issued keep the artwork they were issued with and printed materials already produced may be used up. Artwork sales, merchandise and independent third-party licensing need a separate agreement. Agreed fees and rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Your privacy

Share your artwork, its cultural context and a contact email. Your legal name and unrelated private background details are not required. Do not include private information about other people without their permission.

This agreement covers use of the submitted artworks. It does not provide consent for uses of personal information that require additional legal protection. If such information appears in a submission, ROKH pauses the affected review and use until an edited copy is provided or an appropriate separate legal basis is established. Artistic and cultural work is considered in its context.

ROKH Principles

The application also asks you to accept ROKH’s principles. They explain ROKH’s approach to attribution, cultural context, participation and independence. Reading these terms or the principles alone does not grant permission; the application records the agreement you actively accept when submitting.
