Add another story 07 Application and publication permission * All three are required when submissions open. Publication and promotion are authorised in this application, without a second approval for uses within this scope. ROKH promotion includes its website and app, social media, paid ROKH campaigns, press materials, partner and investor presentations, and printed materials or displays presenting ROKH. These uses may help ROKH grow its audience, brand and business. The permission covers only artworks submitted in your stories, not other work on a linked portfolio. Your chosen public credit, including “Anonymous artist”, applies throughout; private contact details are not part of the permission. Artwork sales, merchandise and independent third-party licensing need a separate agreement. Agreed fees and rights under applicable law remain unaffected. This preview sends nothing and grants no permission.
Read ROKH’s principles Attribution is permanent Contributions belong in the record with their date and the public credit agreed with the artist. That credit may use a name, nickname or pseudonym, or simply “Anonymous artist”. Choosing an anonymous public credit does not erase the contribution or its history.Public anonymity, private contact Artists may participate without disclosing their identity publicly. An application does not require a legal name or public profile. A working email address is required, including for anonymous participation. Email is the only method ROKH uses to contact applicants. This lets us discuss the work, resolve questions and explore collaboration. The artist chooses their public credit in the application; that choice applies to publication and promotion. Email addresses are for private communication and must not appear in public credits or profiles without the artist’s permission. Public anonymity does not guarantee that an artist cannot be identified through their work, communications or email provider.Permissions are explicit Copyright remains with the rights holder. The application includes an explicit, non-exclusive permission to publish submitted story artworks in the ROKH app and website and to reproduce and display them with the chosen public credit for ROKH promotion. Accepting that permission and submitting the application authorises these uses; no second approval is required within its scope. The permission covers the submitted artworks, not other work on a linked portfolio. Artists remain free to use and license their work elsewhere. Collecting a digital card does not transfer copyright. Selling the artwork or copies, making merchandise from it, or licensing it for someone else’s independent use requires a separate agreement.Promotion has an agreed scope The application permission covers ROKH’s own promotion: its website and app, social media, paid ROKH campaigns, press materials, partner and investor presentations, and printed materials or displays presenting ROKH. These uses may help grow ROKH’s audience, brand and business. They use the artist’s chosen public credit, including an anonymous credit. This permission does not cover selling the artwork, merchandise, or independent third-party use. Uses outside this scope require a separate agreement. Participation does not by itself create ownership in ROKH or a share in its funding or income; agreed fees and rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.Culture comes with context Each published card must carry a factual cultural note in Persian and English. Historical accounts, artistic interpretation and disputed claims must be clearly distinguished. Presenting a ruler, movement or public figure is not an endorsement of them. Art and critical perspectives deserve careful context as well as a compelling image.Independent, open to expression ROKH is an independent cultural project. It does not represent or campaign for any government, political party, candidate or faction. This independence leaves room for artists to explore social and political questions, criticism and peaceful dissent. Works are considered for their artistic quality, cultural contribution and fit with these principles. Political subject matter alone is not a reason for exclusion. Publishing a work does not imply that ROKH, its partners or other artists endorse every view it expresses.Respect for people and cultural diversity ROKH respects Iran’s territorial integrity and the dignity and diversity of its people. These principles guide the selection and presentation of work; participation is not a declaration of allegiance to a government or political system. Iran’s different ethnicities, languages, beliefs and lived experiences belong in its cultural story. Criticism of governments, institutions, beliefs or historical events is not, by itself, disrespect for people or culture. Works must be assessed in context. ROKH will not publish work that threatens or targets people with harassment, incites violence or discrimination, or exposes someone’s private personal information without their permission. Depicting or critically examining such conduct is not, by itself, a reason for exclusion.Artists choose their participation Artists are never required to declare a political allegiance, make a political statement or speak for other contributors. The application states the publication and promotional uses before the artist accepts them and lets the artist choose their public credit. Private application answers are not automatically public profile content. Permission to promote ROKH does not allow ROKH to present an artist as endorsing a political cause, organisation or partner without their express permission. Artists can raise visibility and safety concerns by email. An artistic name or pseudonym does not guarantee anonymity. ROKH cannot fully control how others copy or interpret public work, or how authorities in different countries may respond.Participation stays accessible The core cultural experience is being designed for free participation. Supporting ROKH financially should never buy better collecting odds or put the archive behind a paid gate. ROKH makes no promise of financial return.Support respects cultural independence Partnerships should help worthwhile cultural work happen. Funding does not buy control over cultural standards, privileged collecting opportunities or access to personal user data.Opportunities have clear terms Funded projects and commercial collaborations are still being developed. A confirmed opportunity will state its scope, compensation, permissions and responsibilities before work begins. Participation alone is not a promise of income.Preservation needs practical answers Before public launch, we intend to explain how collection records and artwork are preserved, what export facilities are available, and their limits. Specific continuity or export guarantees will be published only when those arrangements exist.Open the principles page (opens in a new tab, so your answers stay here) I agree that ROKH may use my application information to review my work and contact me privately by email about it. I have the rights needed to grant this permission. By selecting this box and submitting, I give ROKH non-exclusive permission to publish the artworks submitted in my stories in its app and website, and to reproduce and display them with my chosen public credit to promote ROKH through the channels described here. Copyright stays with the rights holder; this permission does not authorise ROKH to sell my artwork or copies, make merchandise from it, or license it for someone else’s independent use. I have read and agree with ROKH’s principles.
